Our 2nd grade students at Sunny Hill were in the concert today. Here is Wintertime, we sang with the first graders. The song is in 2 languages, English and Spanish. It was a lot of fun!

today is my 8th birthday!

it`s my birthday!    I`m turning 8!my parent`s got me a merry mint pup from build a bear that I am gonna stuff tomorrow!

last Saturday i went to my cousins play/musical. it was called in to the woods. I brought my favorite stuffed animal named rose.    my dad bought a cupcake and spilt it with me!                            jack played Cinderellas prince.    I had a awesome time!

Owls are so cool!

last Saturday at my school there was an owl thingamabob.  so i chose to go! when I got there there was a great horned owl! I sure liked being there!  the white owl is a barn owl.  I liked the great horned owl the best.  which one do you like best?

Simon and tookie died! simon was a good dog. he died yesterday. he was my grandmas dog.  tookie was a good dog too. he died a couple months ago. heres some pictures of me with my aunt katee and the dogs that died. i was only 1 or 2 in this picture

Husky Tale

today I`m gonna do a post about a REAL husky. his name is tookie. he is my aunts dog.  he was the best dog in the whole wide wolrd !  I want to see him one more time but ... he died! he died of cancer ! it`s not fair! I loved him!

life is full of fun things to do

my family and i like to do lots of things together and im going to tell you about some of them right now, ok?
1 of them is helping at the food pantry at my moms school.

an other thing we like to do is go to dog days at the white sox where you can watch baseball if you want but really i like petting all the dogs. this year there were over 900 dogs.

our family also likes to go see my cousins in their plays with PENGUIN productions, it is a group for kids with some type of problems like learning or speaking or walking or something.  they have helpers.

I hate wensdays!

heres how i really feel about school.  i don't tell anybody because i don't like to.  i think that wensdays are the worst day ever! i don't get to see missus bernas, my speech teacher, i have to go to art class, and the teacher is mean, nothing seems to go right, and we usually get lectures from our math teacher.  Also, on one wensday, i wasted resess doing cheerleading.  Cheerleading was pretty fun except they started doing this thing that I couldnt do and I just had to stand there and watch cause they told me not to leave and right when I left to go play with my friend mary, it was time to go in.  wensday`s stink!

every year my grandma takes me birthday shopping . I love grandma a lot! this year i am gonna  get a build bear.  a cat) dog) any type! Grandma takes each of us grand-kids shopping for our birthdays  and also takes us out to dinner.  I usually go to mcdonald's, and this year I hope to be  she able to go to golden corral because its food is so delicious!  Right now, grandma isn't feeling so well, so even if we don't get to go shopping together, I want to spend time with her because I love her!!

I am class librarian this week with my friend

This week I am the class librarian with my friend jackie.                        I will tell you what that means at my school. it means that you bring the library  book`s back to the school library and you put lost and found  books were you think they go. I`m really happy being class  librarian!

                                                                                                                                                                               It was a nice February night.  my dad tricked me by saying we were gonna get snow pants  for my brother but we were actually were getting my build a bear 1 day Early.   her name is rose I love her.    


my 6th  birthday

at my 6th birthday my best Friends gave me a stuffed animal penguin that I don't play with that often but I still like it.  I had rainbow cupcakes for dessert/dinner


my cousin's birthday party

my cousins birthday party was so awesome, it was the best birthday party ive ever been to.  my cousin Connor turned three and the party was at Chucke Cheese.  There was cake and games and I got tickets and a wisel with the tickets.  my cousin Connor is so cute.

My first Substoot

forget all the good things I said I about 2 day of school. second day = worse day. I had a serious substoot  teacher who made us stop playing litte instruments case` some of the kids were not listening ! I cry in art class case` I`m not use`t to school.   i`m glad my regular teacher is back

2 day of school = great day at school. my first day was so great so my second day must be even greater! I`m really happy going to school! Today I am bringing an apple for my teacher.  I am bringing it today because I forgot to bring it at the meet and greet and did not remember it on the first day of school.  I am still a little nervous about school.  It is really fun, but I am used to home school.

Dad is taking me to the park before school starts.  See ya when I come back!

School is great!  I can't wait till I meet with my speech teacher.  It's so fun going to school, expeshally gym.  I met an old friend from ballet class who just happened to go to my school and I played with her in gym.  Everything is just so awesome!  Being a second grader is one of the best thing I've ever done in my life!
